The standard testing for hepatitis is specific for the three most common forms of the infection: hepatitis A, hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Testing is done by blood sample to detect /measure the level of antibodies. If antibodies are present in the blood it indicates that a person has been exposed to the hepatitis infection.
