We seek to elevate the standards of patient care through our training programs.
In the face of today’s health crisis, our healthcare professionals are faced with more and more challenges each day. The ever-increasing demand for higher-quality patient care is pushing our medical workforce to its limit. PreventFirst.com seeks to address this dilemma by preparing the next generation of health practitioners and equipping them with the knowledge and skills they need to surmount these challenges.
CPR & First Aid
First aid refers to the immediate assistance given to a patient while waiting for a full medical treatment to be administered. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is one of these procedures performed on those experiencing breathing emergencies. Our CPR & First Aid Program is designed to prepare aspiring health professionals in responding to emergencies.
Other areas covered by this program include:
- Emergency Recognition
- Injury Prevention and Risk Management
- CPR for Children
- Breathing Emergency Interventions
- Advanced Airway CPR
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Certified nursing assistants are among the most important members of a healthcare team. Under the direct supervision of licensed health professionals, they provide a wide range of care services to patients in various settings. Our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program is designed to help students develop the skills and competencies required in providing excellent patient care.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Just like certified nursing assistants (CNAs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs) are indispensable members of any healthcare team. They assist physicians and registered nurses in basic nursing duties in settings like hospitals and nursing homes. Their service enables healthcare institutions to attend to the needs of more patients at a time. Enrolling in our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Training Program will help you become an expert in providing basic nursing care and in handling various medical scenarios.
Medical Assistant
Medical assistants are health professionals who assist physicians in providing patient care in settings like clinics and doctor’s offices. Aside from the administrative duties they perform, they also do clinical work, such as specimen collection and medication dispensing. Because of this, they also need proper training. Through our Medical Assistant Training Program, you will be prepared to work in different medical settings that need your expertise.
Home Health Aide Program
Patient care doesn’t just involve medical care all the time. Patients need non-medical care, too. This is especially true for older adults who need in-home support so they can age in place safely. At PreventFirst.com, we offer an extensive Home Health Aide Training Program that will equip you with the necessary skills to provide excellent care services to your clients in their homes.
